Spring is ALMOST here

Autumn and I are doing really well.  Recently I enrolled Autumn into cheerleading.  I thought due to her constant entertaining, and love for dance and music this would be an excellent opportunity for her.  We went to the first practice and she shyed away from everyone.  I think the big problem was that there were girls that were 7-8 years old and they intimated her.  Maybe next year!

Soccer season has started, and I am taking on even more responsiblity within the organization.  I am co-chairing our first 5/10k and Marathon Fundraising Run.  We are also having a spaghetti dinner prior to that.  If anyone has any advice on what to do, it is definietly welcomed.

I am still at AARI, and learning new things daily.  I hope to expand my role here, and possibly recieve a promotion, but there are several factors that I must consider and accomplish first.  I look forward to the challege.

Horse Play

Autumn just got back to Texas today and I had some exciting news to share with her.  My workout partner and friend Kenton decided to purchase a horse.  He and I for the past few weeks have been setting out looking for the perfect horse.  We found him.  He is 10 months old, sweet, but yet independent and is absolutely beautiful. 

Autumn and I went to go see Kenton's new horse.  Autumn did very good with respecting the horse, his size and age.

 Autumn and I went bowling and had a blast.

She gave up 3 frames in, but I bowled a 154....

Autumn Marie Smith

6lbs 7 oz 19 Inches

Now, 3 years old, loving life and everyone in it!  She has grown up to be such a wonderful little girl.  A little bit bossy at times, like her mother, but with a personality that will win you over in a heart beat.  She is the light of my life, and I couldnt imagine her not being in my life.

For her "princess" birthday party, we had it at Peter Piper Pizza.  It has games, and tickets to win, and of course pizza!  Autumn had a blast!  Tiffany (her babysitter), Aaron (My best guy friend), The Carsons (Church Friends) and of course Mommy and Daddy.  It was a small party, but nonetheless, Autumn had a blast!!

Lets start the day off right....Hook 'em!

Parks and Power Outages

Autumn and I went to the park which is a mile away. Of course, Autumn wants to get out of the stroller and walk, which is fine, but of course there are only certain parts she can do this.  She loves going down the slide, and loves screaming "you cant get me". I always do!!

Autumn is being her silly self again.  We had a blackout (which lasted 20 hours!!) So, Autumn took a bath in luke warm water, and of course, acted like a goof ball.

Welcome to our New Blog!!!

New Beginnings:  A new chapter in our lives.

In early January, Nick and I decided to seperate, and recently, we have filed for divorce.   Since then, I have moved in with one of my best friends, Rebecca Mann.  She is a wonderful friend, and an awesome 'aunt' to Autumn. 

I am currently looking for a job, and the hope of a start of a new career.  Still looking to move to Austin, but for now, I am perfectly content in Waco. I have a posible position with ITT Tech, as the marketing secretary, but am also looking at a position with Insight Global. I know the right job will come to me, I just need to have patience and strength, and allow God to show me what my path will be.

Rebecca and I, on Lake Waco. We brought the dogs that day, and they behaved so well! Judge (the black dog on the left side of the picture) loves the water, and it was Tiaja (not pictured) her first time on the boat/lake. We had a blast!  August 21, 2010 - Rebeccas Birthday!

Autumn looking at the fierce crocodile.  She was facinated with all the animals, and it is such a joy to take her to the zoo.  The Cameron Zoo is a lot of fun, and they have a lot of animals.  Autumn does not yet have a favorite animal.

Autumns new favorite activity is modeling. She makes me take about 100 pictures and after each one, she wants to look at them. She is a complete ham, and I LOVE doing this with her.  I am so happy she wants to be in pictures, but if I can just get her to take a "normal" one.

Autumn got a bike from her Daddy for her 3rd birthday.  We took her to the park and she rode it for the first time.  Needless to say, I cried the whole time!  I have better pictures, but they are vertical. Ill learn eventually how to flip them so I can load the best pictures.
